HxH Pitou's Humanity Chapter 9

Chapter 9 This is not a date!

Killua had no idea what the hell was going on. One moment he was worried he would have to fight a chimera ant royal guard, the same royal guard that attacked them back in NGL. Now she’s not only helped them but is now saving innocent people that were captured by his brother.

“Master Killua,” said Amane, getting his attention. “Would you like us to eliminate her?”

Killua had to think about it for a moment, on one hand she hadn't tried to attack them but on the other hand he had no idea what she would do or why she was even here. “I-”

“HEY!,” yelled Pitou pointing to the top of the cliff. “Come down here both of you. I need to kick your ass, you hear me.”

Killua then realized with Pitou’s En she could see his brother. “Illumi is here,” he turned to the butlers. “We need to move now, getting away from Illumi is our priority.” The butlers nodded and all of them jumped down the cliff.

They quickly made their way into the forest. “Quickly we must get master Killua to safety.” said Amane, causing Killua to stop. “Eh, Mast Killua?”

“I can’t,” he said. “Until Alluka is a part of that sentence then you are all my enemies.”

Killua began to power up his godspeed. “Hey mind telling me what's going on here.” said Pitou catching up to thim.

“Neferpitou!”

“Cat lady!” said Alluka

“Hi,” said Pitou, waving at Alluka. “Hey Killua, remind me after I fight these guys but I want to talk to Gon, do you know where he is?”

“Gon?” Killua now had no idea of what to make of this chimera ant. “Why?”

“I want to apologize and-” Pitou stopped as she looked into the forest. “Put a pin in that I need to take care of this guy.” They all turn to see a man come into view. “You’ve been eyeing me since I got here.”

“Mmmmmmmm what can i say I’m just so excited about our date.” said Hisoka as he licked his lips.

Pitou has met several people by now but Hisoka was able to send a chill up her spine. “What the hell is up with this guy?”

Suddenly everyone froze as they saw something disturbing as Hisoka’s pants began to glow. “Big brother, that man’s lap is glowing.” said Alluka.

“What the fuck.”

“Mmmmmm sorry, I thought only Chrollo, Gon, or Killua could get me this turned on but you are doing a fantastic job as well.” said Hisoka to Pitou. “I can barely contain myself.”

Pitou was now thoroughly creeped the fuck out, she turned to Killua. “What the….”

“If you want to kill him go for it.” said Killua, “He is a freak that is addicted to fighting and he’s been stalking me and Gon for months now.”

“HE’S DONE WHAT NOW!!!” said Gotoh as his veins became visible on his forehead, he stepped forward towards Hisoka. “Don’t worry mast Killua I will deal with scumbag, in a moment.”

Hisoka just grinned. “Don’t interfere,” Hisoka then disappeared at blinding speed in front of Gotoh, “With our date.”

Gotoh responded by launching several coins at Hisoka, he dodged them but didn’t dodge a hard kick from Pitou. “THIS IS NOT A DATE!”

Hisoka rolled with the hit and landed on his feet. “Don’t play hard to get now.” as he used his Nen to hold up several playing cards before sending them at high speeds at her and Gotoh.

Gotoh responded by shooting down each card with his coins. “Don’t bother with this lowlife. Focus on the mission and go after master Killua.”

“Killua?” Pitou looked back and saw that Killua had left and that the two female butlers were going off into the same direction.. “Hey where did Killua go? I still need to talk to him about Gon.” Pitou had to stop as Hisoka threw more cards at her she dodged them and watched as they cut through the trees. “Will you stop that and who are you, creep?”

Hisoka smiled as his cards circled him. “I’m but a humble magician, but since I have such a lovely audience I will tell you, my name is Hisoka and I would love to get to know you better.”

Pitou shuddered. “That is not happening.” Pitou powered up her nen. “Hey coin guy.”

“My name is Gotoh.”

“Whatever, I know you don’t like this guy so make me an opening and I’ll go in for the kill.”

Gotoh paused for a moment. “I don’t know who you are but I’ll work with you for now but once this is over things might change.”

“Deal.” Pitou dashed forward with such speed surprising both Hisoka and Gotoh, Hisoka send his card to slower her down but even though she had just met Gotoh she could tell by his reaction to Hisoka saying that he had been chasing Killua around and that he hated this guy and trusted that. Gotoh launched his coins clearing a perfect path for Pitou to get up close and personal. Pitou was close enough to strike when she felt something off. She looked down to see her right leg had landed in some pink rubber looking nen. “What the!?”

“It’s my Bungee Gum, It has the properties of both rubber and gum.” explained Hisoka. Pitou decided to then go for a kick with her right leg pulling at the gum, Pitou legs expanded slightly as she gave them more power. Hisoka went wide eyed as he saw her power through his Bungee Gum. Hisoka listened to his instincts and bent backwards in time as Pitou broke free of his gum. Hisoka felt the air rush by face as her leg flew past him. ‘She was able to power through my gum.’ he thought with shock before gaining a twisted smile. “Mmmmmmmm perfect.”

Pitou then followed through with a hard punch to the face that sent Hisoka back a bit ‘I got him, Huh?’ but to her surprise he came back right at her. She brought up her guard as he delivered a hard kick. ‘His nen has the properties of both rubber and gum, he put some on his feet so he could come back just as hard as I hit him.’

“It won’t be that easy to get rid of me.” Said Hisoka then noticing several coins coming his way, Hisoka then used his arms to make a big Bungee Gum. Catching all of the coins. “You’ve barely fought and your coins have already slowed down, losing your touch.”

“No,” said Gotoh as he readied more coins. “I just added spin to them.”

Hisoka realized what he meant as his arms began to twist at the force of the coins spinning. Hisoka then realized that his gum had been turned against him as his arms were locked together and both Gotoh and Pitou were attacking him, one with coins and the other with a low kick. Hisoka grinned “Impressive”

Hisoka then flew into the air, Pitou skidded along the ground where Hisoka was as Gotoh coins flew above her. ‘He had some of his gum connecting him to the trees and the gum on his feet kept him on the ground.” She then looked up and was shocked at the speed Hisoka was moving. “Ach...What the….” Pitou was truly shocked. ‘I knew there were strong humans out there but this man is clearly stronger than the humans I faced in East Gorto. I can barely keep track of where he’s going.’ Pitou stood up and got into a cat stance. “I can’t afford to hold back here.”

Hisoka was bouncing all along the tree lines as fast as he could. ‘I can’t hold back against that girl and that butler is just plain annoying. I should eliminate him first so me and the cat girl can have all the fun.’ Hisoka was about to bounce in for the kill when he noticed Pitou was also bouncing around the trees. “What is she?” He then saw Pitou laying out several strings all around the trees. “Those strings are made of nen, are you trying to capture me?” Pitou then suddenly appeared next to Hisoka. “HUH”

“Connection Thread” as Pitou punched Hisoka sending him into the ground. Hisoka quickly got to his feet and looked up. “It has the properties of both thread and a teleporter.”

“Tch” Hisoka then jumped as several more coins came his way, “How many of those damn coins do you have?”

“Enough to kill you,” said Gotoh as he kept shooting coins forcing Hisoka to step back. He would have continued but Pitou pushed Gotoh to the ground. “Hey what are you.” He then saw something in the ground where he was. “Master Illumi’s needles.”

“Yeah,,,wait ‘Master’ Illumi’s needles,” Said Pitou emphasizing master. “You work for the guy who’s trying to get you killed.”

“It is a complicated family matter,” said a voice. Pitou looked up to see a skinny man with long black hair standing on a tree branch. The thing that stood out the most was the lifeless eyes. Those eyes were downright disturbing. “One that outsiders should stay away from. Hisoka we need to move now, remember that the result of this mission may cost us our lives.”

Hisoka pouted, “Ah but our date just started.”

“WILL YOU STOP CALLING THIS A DATE!! Also what the hell is with the pouting, are you a child or something.” said Pitou.

Hisoka gave her a gentlemanly bow. “Until the next time my dear.” He then jumped up in the air and out of sight.

Pitou saw this and didn’t buy it. “There’s no way they left that easy.”

“Agreed.” said Gotoh as he fired a coin, it proceeded to bounce around the forest, Hisoka while he was bouncing around earlier laid down several bands of Bungee Gum, all across the part of the forest they were in. “Just great.”

“Don’t worry I have a back up plan.” she said, showing one of her Connection Thread. “You know I made this ability to fix a car and it’s become so useful. Thank you Jessica.”

Gotoh recognized the string. “That’s one of those strings you used to move around to hit Hisoka.”

“Yep, I threw one out just in case we needed a quick get away.” She said as she suddenly grabbed Gotoh. “Hang on to your lunch.”

“Wha-” Suddenly both of them were transported to the other side of the line near the road where they were first attacked. When they made it Gotoh slammed his eyes shut and groaned.

“Yeah took me a few times to get it down without me getting sick but you're doing a good job, haven’t even thrown up.”

“I’m a butler, throwing up isn’t an option, I must keep my dignified image.” said Gotoh though it was clear he was straining himself to keep his gut in check. “Your assistance is appreciated, but now if you’ll excuse me I must go and find Master Killua.”

‘I guess the right thing to do now would be to offer my help.’ thought Pitou.

“Any further assistance is not acceptable.” said Gotoh as if reading her mind. “Even though Master Illumi was attacking us, he was right, this is a family matter and outsiders have no say in it, so I suggest you go the other way and forget about this.”

Pitou thought for a moment, “Mmmmmm No,” said Pitou simply. “I don’t know what’s going on or what this family issues are about but I have my own personal reasons to go and find Killua. I’m sorry but I’m butting in.”

“And pray tell what is your reason for getting into this fight?”

“I have to apologize,” said Pitou as if it were her life goal. “I have lived a very short life and everyone who I used to know are gone and for their sake I have to live, but I can’t live with this guilt I have so I have to speak with them. Gon, Killua and those who I have hurt. So I can move forward.”

Gotoh gave Pitou a look as if he was looking at her soul. He then sighed, “Gon is currently in a hospital in Kukan’yu Kingdom, Huntsman city. The hospital he’s in right now is one run by the hunters association, you can get an airship there in Pallister.” Pitou was surprised by this. “This is my way of saying thank you, now go.”

Gotoh pointed down the road and Pitou saw the sign saying Pallister was 20 miles away. Pitou bowed to Gotoh. “Thank you.” And she was off leaving Gotoh on the side of the road.

Gotoh flipped his coin in his hand. “I guess I’m still a bit of a gambler. Hopefully this one helps you master Killua.”

Pitou made it to Pallister to the airship port. “Okay now I just need to find an airship to-huh?”  Over at the counter was Canary and Amane ordering several other airships.”Why would they, oh to throw off the creeps, then that means,” Pitou looked outside and saw Killua running to an airship. “Killua.”

Pitou ran down the airstrip and made it to Killua airship. “Alright all flight checks are good, time for takeoff.” said Killua.

“Cat lady.” said Alluka

“Cat lady?” Neferpitou.” said Killua looking at the doorway.

“Hi,” she said, waving at Alluka who waved back. She then looked at Killua, “Permission to come aboard?”

A million thoughts ran through Killua’s mind as he looked at Pitou, part of him screamed at him not to trust and the other part of him told him that he should give her the chance, one last part of him was telling him to hurry up before the scary butler lady gets here. He then looked over at Alluka who smiled back at him. “GRRRRRR OKAY, come on we need to get moving.”

“Okay,” said Pitou as she jumped into the ship, she then bowed. “Thank you for having me, captain.”

“Captain?”

“Big brother Captain Killua.” said Alluka

“This isn’t that kind of ship...whatever.” said Killua as he went back to the controls. “Prepare for take off.” Killua pressed a few buttons and the door shut and soon the airship was rising off the ground.

“Wait, what about your friends inside the airport?” asked Pitou. “Are we leaving them behind?”

“For now yes, we need to get out of here before my brother finds us and they will hopefully lead him away from us.” explained.

“Okay, I know it's not my place and all that but what is the deal with you and your brother, actually what is going on?” asked Pitou hoping to get a bit of info.

“It's complicated but you’ve come this far might as well tell you.” said Killua as he turned the ship to Huntsman city.

“Well it looks like we missed them.” said Hisoka as both he and Illumi saw several airships leave the airport all heading in different directions. “Ah and here I was hoping I could meet my new playmate here.”

Illumi looked at all the airships in the sky. “There are several airships, too many for the two of to track in time.”

“Huh, are you going to call in some friends for help?”

Illumi took several needles out, “I didn’t think I would have to waste these.”

“Oooooh,” Hisoka stared at the dark aura infused needles. Illumi handed one to Hisoka who licked it. “Mmm my what a taste.”

“Just stick one needle into one’s brain and they will work themselves to death for you. We’ll use my Needle Men to hunt my brother down before he can make the wish.”

“Okay let me see if I can get this straight,” said Pitou sitting down in the airship digesting all the information. “Gon’s in the hospital and nothing so far has worked fixing him and you think your sister here can do it, but your family is concern because there's a giant risk involved, which you still have told me exactly what it is because your family has super strict rules that if you did tell me they would force you back to your mansion, your older brother thinks the risk is too great and is trying not only to stop you but also kill your younger sister because no one in your family thinks of her as a person.” Killua didn’t respond and just continued to stare out the window. Pitou looked over to see that Alluka was fast asleep. “There's a lot you're not telling me, which makes sense, since I was your enemy like a week ago, but I can also tell that means your sister’s power is no joke, if things go bad a lot of people can get hurt right.”

“Things won’t go bad,” said Killua, “No one knows my sister like I do, I will protect her and I won’t stop fighting until she is free.” Pitou could tell by his voice and what of his face she could see through the reflection of the glass that he was serious and had complete confidence in his sister. He then took his phone out, “I got a call to make, I have some friends that might be able to help. I won’t mention you just yet but when we land I am going to need to make that call.”

Pitou smiled and got comfortable in her seat. “Go ahead I won’t mind.”

“Just what have you been doing since East Gorto?”

“It's a long story,” said Pitou as she remembered her time. “It all started with me drifting in the sea.”
