Adjustments and a fun challenge to spend some time.

In testing those challenges and having fun with them, I had to apply a correction to the very first one. Unfortunately after various testings that I personally did, it turned out to be quite the feat so I downgraded it to a much more accessible level.
I kept trying and in a couple of runs, I did went considerably close to achieve that popularity level. Below, you can see the most successful try that lead me to really scratching that challenge objective!
And it wasn't an isolated case so now I wonder.. is it actually possible to reach popularity level 5 in the very first level? I can't quite find out as I need to keep developing. But since this challenge doesn't require any of the coming up additions, I thought that maybe you all can!

I managed to get pop 5 on stage 1 as well after many tries! There's definitely some RNG involved to succeed (like getting a decent amount of popularity pickups), but my strat was to use almost exclusively Deertaurs with knockback, wild class frequency and popularity +5 upgrades, and Ivery. I didn't use any spells and dumped almost all my stars into the +45 pop at start of game perk

2022-09-08 02:57:53 +0000 UTCFor anyone wondering, here's how I did it, and note there's likely a better way. I used Crisis, Ivery, and Anna though in the run I succeeded I didn't actually end up using Crisis. For Sylvans, I had Eat Without Tease, and for Wild, I had Knockback, Popularity, and Crisis Inherit. Then I had Luban's 9-star blessing to immediately go int Popularity level 2. Now in the actual level, I started making sure I had at least 2 Deertaur in hand, If I didn't I restarted. I put one Deertaur all the way in the back, then another in front of her once I got the mana. I did this to give myself slightly more time to generate mana, this is very important as this is a Wild build where I'm not using Anne for her device. For Anne I put her all the way in the front, this is to get her to rage as soon as possible. As when Anne rages and leaves she gives a good chunk of popularity, and the rage itself is a good way of slowing the tiny advance. Ivery and Crisis are more straightforward and I used them as I normally would, though again in the run where I succeeded I never drew Crisis. For the most part, I used only Deertaur, but for the last 2 waves I replaced them with Faries, as they get filled very quickly and eat fast, this means that at the end there with luck I can get a bit more popularity out of them.
