Aurora Vineyard starfruit requirement

Just a quick poll regarding some feedback I've received from some folks as of late. The vineyard quest requires 300 starfruits to complete, all of which must be of the same quality. Should this amount be reduced?

I completed it but it was a SLOG. Took a year between the greenhouse and summer outside.
