I’m pretty sure that when they visualized that shot, Buffy was looking at her own reflection, then at the couple, and back at the mirror but when they got on location it was an impossible angle without rigging something special for which they neither had time nor budget

Somehow, on my first watch through, I completely missed this episode. I don't understand how. My only guess is that maybe I was watching with someone and they just wanted to get me to "Surprise" (next episode title) and I didn't know any better.

2023-04-10 22:43:17 +0000 UTCI never noticed this until probably my fourth or fifth time watching through, but in the opening scene, there's a mirror next to the escalator, and Buffy notices that the woman is reflected, and the man she's with isn't. That's how she knew to follow them.
