Ever notice how when we get glimpses into Xander's home life it's immediately lost and overshadowed? Here he calls home. Says hi to his mom, yet still has to identify himself to her by name. What mom do you know can't identify her child by their voice?

2023-04-17 00:55:52 +0000 UTCWatching it now I find buffy and angel scenes to be so over dramatic and cringey😂😂 I think we kinda see it from buffy pov, who’s still a teenager. But I enjoy this episode, especially drusilla and spike scenes and the dream sequence at the beginning is very well done, the music is just perfection, and get used to the dreams in the show because they’re a thing, prophetic and there’s a lot of foreshadowing. Can’t wait for the next episode, which is one of my favourite from the season together with the “lie to me” episode, and from the show overall. Without spoilers, I can tell you the series gets better from here, and it will surprise you a lot becoming unpredictable and kind of experimental, with some great stand alone episodes which have influenced many other shows.
