2023-08-27 03:01:31 +0000 UTCIn light of the fact that gaslighting describes a practice that can cause considerable psychological harm, I’d be a bit more careful with throwing that word around. In this case everyone is clearly in on the joke as the show doesn’t even try to fool the audience. It could have easily done so by giving explanations for Dawn’s past instead of emphasizing the changed reality with statements like “she grew up in this house.”

2023-08-20 02:19:18 +0000 UTCI guess you’re right she can be a little flaky at times, but at least she has a good reason, being the slayer and all, even if she wants to make time for normal stuff and make plans with her friends she has to prioritise her slayer duties, it’s understandable she would forget other stuff that it’s not as important. You might want to focus on the sister when you watch the next episodes, she is the key to understand the season.
