There's an older movie Altered States (1980) where the scientist experiments with psychoactive drugs to tap into the primordial cell... genetic memory - with fun results. In the original story of Akira (1988) I hear the kids in the future are taking drugs which alter them and they get mental powers and you see the kids with different psychokinetic abilities and among them the strongest was the boy Akira.

2023-09-08 15:17:09 +0000 UTCTo answer your question: It's a myth that we do not use 100% of our brain. Our brain is our most energy-intensive organ, if we truly only used 10% of it then we would have evolved with much smaller brain as energy (food) can be hard to come by.
