2023-06-12 07:06:27 +0000 UTCWhy do they have to listen to the Watchers Council? They don't but they are teen girls told from age 14 or so that they do. This is why I think they put the slayer through that deadly surprise test at age 18. If you kill the slayer off before she gets to the point of questioning them the council gets to start over with a new 14, 15 or 16 year old girl.
