I’ve never been into buffy and Riley together, or Riley as a character to be honest, he’s not bad I just find him a little bland and doesn’t hold my insterest whatsoever. He and the whole initiative plot is the reason why I rank season 4 so low on my list of buffy seasons, even though it has some great episodes, that have nothing or very little to do with this storyline. Having said that, I think it’s good at this moment for buffy to have a romance with someone who’s not supernatural and who’s not an asshole for a change.
