Also you were 100% onto something in thinking that Faith was actually beating herself more so than buffy because she hates herself and was projecting, but I love that she went back to save those people because it shows us that she is The slayer as much as buffy is, that’s her calling and her duty and she isn’t evil as she is trying to be, even though she sees buffy as the villain to her own story because she killed the one person that actually cared about her.

The acting was amazing by both actresses who had to play each other’s role, completely changing their mannerism and absolutely slayed it. Faith is totally in love with buffy😂 I know it’s not really in the script, although there’s a line in this episode that might actually reinforce the work that Eliza has been putting into it, when Faith in Buffy’s body says to Riley that Faith is gone and Buffy has won the consolation price with Riley😂 at this point I wonder if the writers were aware of the sexual undertone that the actress was playing and just went along with it.
