It wouldn't have to be both, just Faith, since Faith was called when Kendra died and Buffy didn't.

2023-12-12 04:50:36 +0000 UTCI think that the current fan theory is that either the Slayer line is now running through Faith (and Buffy now exists outside of that lineage), or that both Faith and Buffy would have to die for a new slayer to be called.
