Yeah they teased a bit more at the end of the pilot to hook people. Solving the Case of Lilys Death is gonna be a long and slow burn. There are gonna be a lot "case of the week" episodes yet there will always be small pieces connecting the bigger pictures. This show does a good of job of setting up multiple storylines over a long period. Some information may seem unimportant but will eventuelly shed a whole new light on things and then give even more twists and turns later.
