2024-03-27 17:27:55 +0000 UTCThis works for me, in part because I enjoy stuff mixing fantasy and/or science fiction with World War II, and in part because it ties into the history of this particular fictional universe, like that we saw the beginnings of the Initiative (called here the Demon Research Initiative) and Spike and Angel saying they don't want to experience two things that end up happening to them anyway (Spike getting experimented on by the government and Angel getting trapped at the bottom of the sea.) Plus, we finally see another vampire so old that he always appears inhuman. (The Master, Kakistos, Prince of Lies.)
