2024-02-18 22:32:06 +0000 UTCYou ain’t seen nothing yet. Xena is way way worse than this as a villain. Believe me. But that’s what makes her redemption story so strong and in-depth. So I love it. When you truly see the weight of what she’s done, you feel it with her. The weight. Xena in Hercules doesn’t have anywhere near that depth. That’s all in her show. If anything, it just makes you confused because you look at the way she is in her own show, and then watch her Hercules introduction… and you think “Well, is she really that evil?” And she is. She really is that evil. That’s the point. She needs to be that evil otherwise her redemption means nothing. Here she’s pegged more as a manipulator and gaslighter than a murderer. But they focus fully on the murder aspect in Xena.

2024-02-18 12:53:31 +0000 UTCI honestly don't think you need to watch Hercules with xena. In xena, we'll get plenty of back story on her character (and they're some of the best eps in my opinion) but was still cool to see your reaction to her characters introduction to the universe 👍
