2024-05-14 19:18:53 +0000 UTCYeah, a lot of people in the show mistake Gabrielle for a blonde. Itβs a running joke thatβs sheβs referred to as βthe irritating little blondeβ. But she is actually more of a redhead. And you should know by now that nothing can keep our Warrior Princess down. Not even Talmic poison. The next episode is highly regarded as the best episode of the season and itβs certainly my favourite.

2024-05-14 15:21:17 +0000 UTCThat's one of the highlight episodes of the first season (which is saying a lot.) ... Gabby was saying that Xena told her to "focus." Not "procreate." π ... Gabrielle's reaction to Xena's apparent death is probably the dramatic high point of this episode. Her attacking the tree is great. I also love when (it's easy to miss) she says she's going to get out and go find Iolaus. That's a fantastic, cool little detail. Gabby impersonating Xena is hilarious, and it's great to see Salmoneus. It's ALWAYS good to see Salmoneus!
