You canât force a person to be good but you can help them understand that their past does not define them. That every step they take in doing good is all that matters because âgoodâ/âevilâ is not inherent in their nature. This is how I see it whether theyâre human or not. A person is whatever possesses consciousness. It is no specific species. Just a species thatâs aware of itself. And thatâs most of them. Including supernatural ones.

The extremities in which Xena has to go to in the season 2 episode, âWarrior⌠Princess⌠Trampâ, to prove that sheâs the real Xena, and not one of Xenaâs look-alikes pretending to be Xena, for me, makes up the comedy to this episode no matter what Gabrielle and Joxer do. Not to mention the remarkable acting skill it takes to play a character thatâs not that character, but has to pretend to be that character, and then has to pretend not to be that character, just shows you how versatile of an actress Lucy Lawless really is. I mean she literally has to play a role within a role within a role. Itâs like walking through a door that doesnât seem to have an end to it. Constantly finding another door behind the door youâve just opened. Thatâs how remarkable and versatile her acting is. So convincing too. For me, she is without a doubt the most versatile actress there is because she absolutely nails any and all genres of acting.

The order of these episodes should probably have been different, but, as was observed before, the injury to Lucy Lawless on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno necessitated some alterations to the plan.
