2024-07-08 23:43:44 +0000 UTCI don't care about clip shows in general in other series because it's always "oh it's like that one time that this happened" and roll to flashback 😆 at least in Xena and Hercules they make them fun with a whole new storyline and character development.. I do fast forward the flashbacks most of the time tho ha!

2024-07-07 09:23:48 +0000 UTCOh I totally get it. I'm not huge on clips shows in general though I guess I can understand their purpose. I do love seeing the show take a different direction and introduce new lore but there's still a ton of clips of things I've already seen before. 😄

They couldn’t decide between descendants/reincarnations… so they just did both. 😂👍 AUs, past/future lives and different timelines are a common motif for the show all throughout. It’ll eventually make sense why these specific characters keep finding and meeting each other in every single one of them. They do something very clever with it which takes the relationship between the characters up several notches and it’s really up to you to decide what that means. However, I will say that there is a specific way the creators are intending you to view it. Xena and Gabrielle is not SuperCorp or SwanQueen. The creators are on our side.

There’s an unreliable narrator and the TV show is based on that unreliable narrator’s work. BUT - you have to figure out which episodes are neither a scroll or about a scroll. Those ones are fun. But I did tell you that Gabrielle’s bardic qualities would be important. The show you’re watching is all from Gabrielle’s perspective. Keep that in mind as you continue to watch. It’s very important.

Personally I'm not a BIG fan of when they did the "modern" clip shows mostly cause I like the ancient times aesthetic lol, but I appreciate them. Not to say though...we could really use a Xena and Gabrielle now a days for sure. I like the whole they are together through times vibes Def. I also like the show allowed the actors to play around with all different kinda of things you just see more and more of their skills as you go. Lol when you first met Joxer I just kept saying while watching your reaction, "he will grow on you" lol. This show can get incredibly goofy, I am glad you are appreciating the goofiness, and getting used to it now, cause they get pretty goofy lol. Although just a quick question I can see this edited and I understand the need, but I will admitted I like seeing the full reaction, do I need to increase my tier? I wasn't around during the live stream.

2024-07-06 03:11:51 +0000 UTCI've always thought people don't normally like clip shows but I really love this! Really digging the 1940's costumes. Everybody is fantastic, as always. They all really do have such a fantastic and funny way with accents. It also kinda starts to play around with the "modern" world, which is always funny. I cracked up seeing Ted and Rob in the final scene 😂.
