I feel like Troy's whole half of the relationship was BS. He was just using Veronica while he waited to run off with Shauna. He screwed his friend over because he wanted to swipe the drugs and sell it for a quick payday on his way out of town. He seemed like a nice guy but he clearly wasn't.
