Community Update: Change in “AphroDesia: Cupid Syndicate” Voice Talent

We wanted to inform you about a recent change in our team. After careful consideration, we have decided to terminate our working relationship with the voice actor for Vaticus Arch for our "AphroDesia: Cupid Syndicate" series due to a series of statements defending a controversial and harmful figure. We did so as soon as we discovered these publicly available posts. This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it is in the best interest of our studio and community.
It is unfortunate, and we will not be further divulging on the topic after this. However, we understand that this is a frustrating decision. Had this been a situation we could have made better, we would have. But we have an immediate 0 tolerance policy for certain types of statements and behaviors. As saddening and frustrating as this may be to fans, we hope they can understand why. We would appreciate no further speculation or connection to this individual.
We will be searching for a replacement in due time. Thank you for your patience as we work through this.

2024-07-20 20:10:57 +0000 UTCokay, i’m sure the team will delete my comment if it’s against their wishes, but it is VERY easy to look up what happened without the team having to divulge in further information: the va that’s been let go made a public statement on reddit yesterday defending another voice actor who has been known for a decade of abuse towards his girlfriends, coworkers, and violating his contract. the issue is abuse apologia I’m glad he’s gone because i wouldn’t enjoy a character voiced by someone with poor judgement
