I think y'all would love it. Especially Kenny. There's a lot of fantasy world mechanics he can theorize over, and plenty of strong, kick ass women for Montana.

The Magicians would be awesome, I know that’s a lot darker but it just has so many dynamic elements. Regardless, always here for the great reactions and awesome discussions.

Fire's the most dangerous and lethal element, but that doesn't mean they have to be pacifists. With all the kingdoms and Avatar restored, the threat of any one element is mitigated.

2021-03-28 03:46:13 +0000 UTCYoung Justice would be an amazing follow up to Korra/Atla especially in terms of "not a kids show" xD Fantastically expanding stories/worlds, decently well written HUGE cast of superheros (of course), and the animation/soundtrack is a solid B or A in my book. She-ra is also amazing from what I've heard but I've never given it a try, would be great to first time watch it with ya'll though!

Without her, Korra wouldn't have been able to escape the Red Lotus crew, nor break out of all the precautions the ship's crew take against her but underestimate Asami, nor repair the ship or create a sanddrifter thing. Also helpful that the goggles are a damn look. We stan our non-bender queen!

In fact their dynamic is one of friends who grew up and joined the White Lotus together to fight for a good cause. They refer to themselves as "revolutionaries" which is in contrast to the terrorists that Korra calls them in the beginning.

2021-03-27 23:03:32 +0000 UTCIf Pabu was the MVP of chapter 8, this time it is Asami: she managed to escape, helped Korra, repaired / built a transport vehicle 3 times and she connected with her captors. I love the detail that she learned their names, and Korra adapted to this behavior (she even apologizes to the captain at the end). Compared to what happened between Mako / Bolin and the Red Lotus, when Bolin started making conversation with them, Mako cut him off (although, I don't think they would achieve the same results with them). Asami is perfect <3
