MCU Movie Format
Added 2021-04-03 17:05:47 +0000 UTCHello all! So i'm now pretty much going to do an MCU series, as it polled the highest by FAR, but since its movies, I will need to change up my episodic style. Im thinking of doing 2-4 parts for each movie, both for copyright and length of video reasons. Let me know what you think I should do, and if you have ANY OTHER YOUTUBERS WHO YOU THINK I SHOULD EMULATE THE STYLE OF regarding reacting to a movie, rather than a TV show.
Additionally, to be real, filming gives montana anxiety, and the thought of watching a full length movie every week is just a bit much anxiety and editing wise. So be honest with what's the best choice, but bear that u

Two parts, but release them like the day after each other or the same day. A week is too long to wait for half a movie

2021-04-04 13:13:36 +0000 UTCmaybe do 2 parts for solo movies and 4 parts for the big ones like all the avengers movies!

2021-04-04 00:04:57 +0000 UTCWill there be an unedited version for Patreon subscribers or will it be edited down like it will be on YouTube?

2021-04-03 23:27:48 +0000 UTCI think two parts a week apart would be preferred, but take a Sunday off in between for a vlog of some sort (Appa training, Plant vlog, Q&A) so yall can relax and not lose the passion for what you guys do :) Honestly, I'm here for the Kenny and Montana content as opposed to reacting content, so I would rather you guys take time between the movies than cause you guys anxiety and lose your passion.

2021-04-03 18:53:33 +0000 UTCIf you choose to do 4 parts, you could release parts 1 and 2 as normal but make parts 3-4 strictly your reaction but no video and leave a time stamp. That way everyone can start at a specific time to line up with the timing of the movie and your reaction.

2021-04-03 17:11:51 +0000 UTCThis is what I’m leaning towards, doing it like Korra. More fully analyze it, and do the slow burn approach. Imagine if we did that fully throughout the MCU. By the end, we would have analyzed every detail of the universe

2021-04-03 17:08:57 +0000 UTCWill you also be watching MCU television shows (Agent Carter, Agents of Shield, etc)?
2021-04-03 17:08:26 +0000 UTCIn my experience reactors who break it down to multiple parts are able to react to more parts of the movie but I’m also not an expert on copy right so idk how that would work.

2021-04-03 17:08:05 +0000 UTCHire an editor OR don't do it weekly (do 1 video per film tho) but check out Eric's work at @PrettyMuchIt. They've been very successful with Patreon AND movies getting usually a million views on their movie reactions and not much issues with copywrite. Personally been a fan of theirs for years. (Having the full movie reactions exclusively here is a great incentive too)

2021-04-03 17:08:02 +0000 UTCDo three and offer a full length version just with no reference footage . If not possible then number 1 for me. 4 parts is just way too much.
