Please post your SPOILERFREE questions for the episode down below!!

Comments

Most of the hate directed towards Korra is rooted misogyny. Most of the arguments come from comparing her to Aang. While they are part of the same reincarnation cycle they are very different people. A portion of the fandom find comparing Korra's story and growth to another member of the gaang better shows exains her character. Which gaang member would you compare korra

Trinity

What significance do you think the letters hold for those who wrote them

Trinity

Since you finished this crazy ending of this episode, I just want you guys to remember the final scene of that ATLA Firelord/Roku past episode. Okay, who’s cutting the onion?!? 😭

PD

Disclaimer: Turn off the subtitles at least towards the end of Episode 2. Major spoilers!! My question: How do you feel about the final scene? Especially given how much it was teased in Season 3?

Cade

How would you compare this episode of Korra Alone to the ATLA episode of Zuko Alone?

Himal Patel

For Montana: I know you’re a psych Major soon to be Graduate. How would you compare the deterioration of Korra’s mental health along with her physical health?

Himal Patel

Seeing that picture in the shop and the BIG revelation/reunion reminded me of an official photo of the OG Avatar gang as adults which was never used in the show, since it doesn't count as a spoiler......do y'all want to see it? https://images.app.goo.gl/A4odqWpxe3bJJ1C16

This is more of a general question, but is a very pertinent question for this episode. Is the Avatar necessary? When you look back on everything, the Avatar has in some way created their own problems, the air nation would not have been killed off without the knowledge Sozin had that the Avatar would be born next among the air nomads, Amon would not have had a vision of having no benders if the Avatar had not removed his father’s bending, Unalaq and Vattu would never had been a possibility if Wan had first not combined with Ravva and secondly could not have combined without Korra opening up the spirit portals, Zaheer would for one never would have been set on his path originally without the young Avatar to mold to his ideals and Zaheer would never have air bending without harmonic convergence which Korra started by opening the portals. When looking at this journey from this lens, what do you get from Korra and the rest of the world with the air nomads taking over for Korra when she is unable to help the world. I feel this question spreads throughout the season.

Layn Hyer

What do you think of the similarities and parallels between Korra's and Zuko's Alone journeys and what do you think about all that they have in common as shown in previous episodes (from both of them getting huge amounts of help from Uncle Iroh to both of them having hotheaded and headstrong personalities)?

Beidou Supremacy

Have you heard of, or have you considered playing the Legend of Korra video game that takes place between season 2 and 3. It’s not the most Mindbending (rimshot) game but you can play in probending matches and it’s more Korra story? Not really an episode question sorry

Randy

Every season the villains essentially believed the world would be better without an avatar do you think, Korra thinks they were right and is defeated?

Correy King

As korra seemed to always be great at the physical side of avatar life, do you think this episode exploring the more psychological aspects of her character will show a new side to her. And finally fill in the gap she has had since season 1? :)

what did you think of the special someone showing up at the end of the episode? and how do you think they’ll help korra through her recovery?

Ella

One thing Korra always lacked over other avatars was the fact she never got to travel the world on her avatar journey, some argue one of the most important things needed for becoming the avatar, what did you think of her finally getting to go on her own avatar journey as a result of what happened to her during the end of last season.

TrixieTurner

Korra has always defined herself mainly by being the avatar and over the last few months of the first three seasons she has had multiple traumatic events that negatively impact her ability to be the avatar so what do you think it means that now she is being haunted seemingly by her avatar spirit.

TrixieTurner

After that big character reveal, will this person be exactly what Korra needs, too much of a hardass, or somewhere in the middle?

Scott Bringel

Korra alone vs Zuko alone, who do you think mentally is struggling worse in their respective episodes. And do you see any parallels between them :)

Just rewatched the episode; that issue appears to have been fixed.

Schreiber

What did you think of that photograph of adult Aang?

Schreiber

How do you feel about Korra’s mental issue?

Arianna MIRANDA

That’s a spoiler! Please delete the comment.

This question is for the patreon members not for Kenny and Montana. What number do you think the SHOOK COUNTER will reach when they see the person they will see at the end of the episode?

yishai

How does Korra's black eye resemble Zuko's scar, and what does that say about Korra's honor?

Vaed Prasad

Do you think Korra’s mental struggles and frustration comes from the pain and damage dealt to her body resulting in the wheelchair or do you think it comes from the fear of knowing that her fight with Zaheer was the closest she has ever come to dying?

Marcb92

How would you compare this episode and what Korra goes through to what happens to Zuko in his “alone” episode?

Brandon Hughes

I can't remember what episode it is but turn off subtitles if you use them to avoid a spoiler

Cxlxmity

More than one question in particular, I would like Montana to elaborate on all the possible mental problems that this episode deals with, which, personally and perhaps, all of us who suffer from depression, hurt much more than any brutal death that has been shown in the series so far

Marta Baez Moya

What do you think is the significance of what/who Korra is seeing and what it says about her current state of mind?

Lorias

What do you believe Korra's visions mean for future episodes?

Jenny bete

How excited were you to see that character at the end?

Ana Andrade

from a psych major pov: what stands out about korras mental health in this episode, and how do you think she’ll continue to heal?

emma rose

Do you think Tenzin's words at the end of season 3 and what her friends have told her about their lives impacted Korra's decision to isolate?

Ana Andrade

How do you feel about the depiction of mental health and mental struggle in this episode?

Karston James
