Given the types of powerful entities Superman must face, or the mental state of some of Batman's villains do you think the members of the League may be justified in the treatment of their side-kicks, or do they take the need to protect everyone: I.E. being a hero, too far when it comes to their younger protégés? Is the Team, no matter how capable they may be with those who trained them, too young to face some of the atrocities probably witnessed by their mentors?
