It was a natural death yes, but I tried to do CPR on him and the fact that he died in my arms, haunted me for years, but I accepted that it was his time and that he's not in pain, so it helped a lot.

2021-07-21 04:11:36 +0000 UTCAn interesting correlation in the episode is between the kidnappers and Eren… as they both used a knife as their first weapon. What’s really interesting is that although both Eren and the kidnappers were violently gruesome with their actions… Eren is painted as a hero while the kidnappers are looked at as scum, these awful people that exist in society (which they are). As Kenny already knows and Montana will soon realize.. the author, Isayama, doesn’t make mistakes and this choice of his to create this parallel is heavily foreshadowing what goes down later in the series 👀

Montana actually picked up on something a lot of people don’t notice the first time around and that is Grisha’s choice to not refrain Eren from seeing what happened to Mikasa’s parents. That’s a very important moment for both Eren and Grisha as characters and their outlooks on the world.

For Montana, it only gets better and I think Kenny has already picked up on a lot but the things I noticed in aot the second time around is what sets apart aot as one of, if not.. my favorite show of all time. As Kenny said a few episodes back… every single frame is important and that couldn’t be more accurate of a statement ahah 🔥

2021-07-20 21:37:14 +0000 UTCKinda surprised that Montana didn’t mention how Eren did not hesitate at all when it came to killing the kidnappers in such a brutal fashion, plus he didn’t seem at all phased which felt really strange to me. He also lied to them by pretending to be nice beforehand without an issue. It’s like, even Mikasa hesitated despite the fact that they’re the ones that killed her parents, but Eren was just like “die lol”
