Castaspella’s guised gaslighting and manipulation is smth that most Asian, Arab and African aunts/moms/uncles/fathers have in common. So I found that trait to be both uncomfortable but also relatable

My personal opinion is that the "wings" on Glimmers shoulders are birthmarks, letting everyone know that she is a descendant of an angelic being.

Shoutout to Bow for always being the best friend. He's always reassuring, calming and trying to support everyone. Even in this episode alone, he's like will doing something more relaxing help or we can get you something to punch if you'd prefer that. He's trying so hard to do whatever is comfortable for Adora. And he's always the first to realise he's not been a good friend and apologise. Best boy, Bow.

totally get it! I was struggling too, it's weird talking around things this interconnected lol I just try and stay away from things someone couldn't come to a conclusion to with the info given in the episodes Kenny and Montana have seen.

agreed. I just am being overly cautious of spoilers a bit so also trying to make everything I say super relatable to episodes that already happened. Not that I think what you said is a spoiler, I just couldn't find a way to type anything about the Catra/Shadowweaver dynamic without future context.

I'd even say Catra's less team Shadow Weaver and more just team Catra. Who, with zero support system and healthy coping mechanisms in the Horde, still thinks bringing Adora back will solve her problems, not knowing what she would be bringing her ex-friend back to.

"Catra why are you Team Shadowweaver". A life time of emotional abuse and manipulation mainly and abandonment issues that Adora leaving set off. This is why I go "really?" whenever people call this show light hearted.
