Not replacement Naga. Just travel-size Naga.

Montana was so good at predicting stuff in ATLA so I was excited to see Kenny's predictions and I love that you are both really good at predicting. Also loving the Montana/psychology this episode

Sabina Boisineau

The moment Korra and Toph meet always bring us back to Toph’s question in the episode “The Avatar and the Firelord”, “Do you really think friendships can last more than one lifetime?”.

VK

Jatsu

What do you think about the way they drew Korra more pale and with less muscle?

Aray YIKAMACI

I am so excited for Montana's comments on the PTSD!

Aray YIKAMACI

Aray YIKAMACI

Love the editing of this video! Good job Kenny!

I think it’s more that the existence of raava and the avatar state was turned into a weapon to be used against her by Zaheer. That’s why she’s afraid of it and why she hallucinates it attacking her.

“Recovery” by SimplyKorra on AO3!

That episode is amazing, and your reaction and analysis was even more amazing! Also, I'd love to see you react to the pilots of the possible shows/movie franchise you want to watch next!

How good is this season? Episode one is just catching up with everyone and thirsting for all the attractive people. Episode two is a deep dive into the mental health of the Avatar and dealing with trauma. I saw a fanfic that dives into the details of Korra's absence and how she legitimately feels like she owes it to the world to give in and give them the next avatar rather than be an Avatar who can't physically help anyone and it was one of the saddest thing and ties in so well to Korra's mentality of not really thinking she's useful to anyone or worth much if she isn't a physically active Avatar.

I didn’t really notice if there was a difference

something i just noticed watching this episode: when Korra is leaving the tree of time, she says "i need to figure this out on my own." in Toph's arc in ATLA, one of the first lessons she learned was from Iroh: "there's nothing wrong with letting the people who love you, help you." Toph learned to accept help from others through Iroh, and now she's re-introduced when Korra needs that lesson the most!

Random question: is the lighting better than normal in this video?

Haha Loved this episode. Love your take on this season so far

Bolin learning lava bending was the episode I was the most excited to see Kenny react to. However, I was especially looking forward to Montana's analysis of this episode. Really is right up her wheelhouse.

Thomas Morgan

The only reason I don't buy into Kenny's theory is cause I don't see why Raava would attack Korra like that, unless its more like Korra using the avatar state to attack herself.

TrixieTurner

Back in season 2 when Jinora was lost, there was the fog of lost souls that trapped people in their worst nightmares.

Niya Thomas

Kenny you’re absolutely right with that last answer except I think that Korra could be viewed as part of the problem with Amon too. The whole reason he happened was because his father tried to turn him into a blood bending machine to get vengeance on the Avatar after Aang took Yakon’s bending. So every single scenario in the series could’ve been avoided without her

Dan Sullivan

Toph: Do you really think friendships can last more than one lifetime?" Aang: "I don't see why not." 😭😭😭
