Something sad I realized during my rewatch is, taking what Ymir said about her experience being a pure titan, their life is basically a nightmare ever given their low consciousness of what's happening. Sunny and bean time with Hange was probably the most at peace they felt. She experimented on them but talked to them, treated them as human in some sort even more than when they were at Marley

2023-09-20 11:35:24 +0000 UTCI wonder if perhaps the Titans are a weapon. As Montana keeps saying, they make no sense as an evolved species. They don't hunt to survive, they don't seem to do anything except try to kill humans. That's waay too specific to be a random accident. Then you have the Colossal Titan and the Armoured Titan, both of which are perfectly suited - one might even say tailor-made - to breach the defences of the walls. They show up, they breach the walls, they disappear. That's not natural. Is there another human faction, or maybe an alien species or something, that created and is controlling the Titans?
