I didn't notice until this time that Adora says Angella's last words were for her to take care of everyone, and Angella actually said to take care of each other. Once again, Adora puts all the burdens and responsibilities onto herself alone.

Holy shit I can't believe I didn't realize it at the time, but Catra's final line in the episodes, "I think you and I are going to do great things together," is almost a 1:1 mirror of what Shadow Weaver always says to her unfortunate protégés. She certainly has learned well :(

I remember really resonating with this episode because my mom had recently passed away. She was a lot like Angella too which just made it even more impactful. I was full on tear bending, especially after Glimmer expressed why she was upset at everyone trying to make everything seem perfect when it was actually the worst day imaginable for her.

I don't know why Glimmer doesnt get wings maybe because she is more magical oriented like her dad but I feel like they showed those wings for a reason , I also think people forget about the extra layer of sadness to Glimmers loss because she never thought this was possible to lose her mom because as we found out in season one Queen Angela is Immortal.

My favorite part of this episode has to be the very end. I absolutely adore Catra throwing Hordak's words back at him: "I think you and I are going to do great things together." The role reversal here is a huge deal. And while I know she's evil right here... damn, if she ain't hot! What the hell, guys. Not fair. ~lol~

Horde Prime is still in another dimension/universe. Etheria remains in the pocket dimension of Despondos & Horde Prime is a busy man... thing. He is the ruler of a multi-galaxy, pan-universal empire, homie has a full plate. Remember, he sent Hordak to die on the frontlines because he was a "defect" right ? Why would we expect Horde Prime to just drop what's he's doing & portal to Etheria ?

I think the power stone Hordak has is like a "stone" from Entrapta. So that makes the scene where he's desperately trying to get it, and finally just crawling up to pick it and hold it, much more impactful.
