There's a lot of stuff to notice the more you watch AOT. Like Annie in line in episode 2 when they're handing out rations and Bertolt and Reiner in the same episode looking scared/horrified af when they talk about sending people outside the wall to solve the food shortage.

Montana face broke my heart. You would think she was actually in the show, cause she just looking like all the hope was drained from her body.

Pain! Something I also really like about this episode is how it reintroduces the fear element. I feel like, while things remained tense, the titans themselves felt less scary by this point. Then suddenly it’s six scouts, still new in the grand scheme of things even though it doesn’t feel like it, all against this impossible being. And that’s terrifying! Not to mention what it does in the later episodes! If there is something this show does expertly, it is built tension and raise stakes!
