Is Catra A Villain? At this point, yes. Absolutely. She is engaging in villainy on a moment by moment basis. Is it her fault she's a villain? Her disposition towards villainy was not her fault, but she is an adult with agency and carries responsibility for her actions. Is impact all that matters to the morality of action? No, but it has the lion's share of what matters. In law, any homicide that can be realistically faulted to a party's inappropriate conduct carries some consequence for them, but then intent and demeanor can cause massive fluctuations in the level of consequence they can be shouldered with. But still "Did thing X result and thing Y, and did you meet the factual standards of doing thing X" is the line between general guilt and general innocence. Victimhood to one crime does not excuse commission of another (obviously not talking about defense against a clear and present danger btw), especially when separation of space and time from the moment of victimhood is so clearly present as here. Can she be redeemed? Truly, as long as one still lives, genuine contrition and change of heart is possible.
