Why did the news that Shadow Weaver was in Bright Moon affect Catra so deeply? For the same reason Catra kept bringing Shadow Weaver her meals, and the same reason Catra fought to keep Shadow Weaver around when Hordak ordered her to be sent to Beast Island - Catra loves Shadow Weaver, and nobody can hurt you like those you love. Shadow Weaver escaping was...okay, this is bad, but prisoners are going to try to escape. It's a thing that happens. Shadow Weaver escaping and going to be Adora's prisoner? That's not just a prisoner escaping. That's Shadow Weaver *leaving Catra for Adora*.
