As you grow closer to the end are there any characters that you went from hating to loving (or at least understanding) and do you feel that everything has been pretty black and white?

What do you think about Floch saying that they need to tell recruits to the scouts the truth; that being that some lives are more important than others? Do you agree with this statement? Could you ignore your emotions and allow logic to take precedent if you had to decide between the life of a leader and the life of a lifelong friend? Could anyone? Emotions make people human, what do you think this says about the motif of sacrificing your humanity?

What do the difference in reactions on the beach reveal about the characters? While others are able celebrate this win and the defeat of the titans, Eren is focused on the fact they aren’t truly free just because of the existence of people who want to oppress them.
