The discussion will be more enjoyable, theorizing. I enjoy listen to your thoughts, and seeing you using your brain cells. Demon Slayer is more about brainless action, even if that part is well made though.

Now, Daz is literally murdered by Connie, Ymir was killed by Marleyans for her accidental titan shifting and Historia is pregnant and miserable knowing that she has to carry on that bloodline by herself otherwise the founding titan powers will be lost. Such a happy, cheery show, this.

Just something to keep in mind for planning and all that. Not sure if this is a new thing with whatever company owns the anime or if it’s just her, cause I have seen others react to it before.

Difference between our main gang and his atrocities is our main gang is shown to have emotional pain or conflict with the horrible things they have to do. Flock lovessss to toy with people and relishes in dangling lives on a string. We don’t see him feel anything about killing volunteers or his former comrades.

That scene with Connie/Armin and Daz/Samuel had me sobbing and the sub actors screams were so guttural and painful 😖 I’m not a sub or dub is better person, I watch it in both and started it dubbed and love the voice acting in both versions for different reasons but the sub voice acting for all the character in this scene was phenomenal 🤌🏻

It would be very stupid to count on someone hesitating for a second time. Plus another Jaegerist could swoop in at any second and then suddenly it’s 2 on one. And it’s not just about feeling better, it’s about always fighting against genocide, it can’t be justified. That means fight against the one directed at their race, AND fight against the larger scale one that’s currently taking place, regardless of it benefiting them.

A lot of writers would be afraid to have their main characters make really controversial choices with huge consequences but he just goes all in. People are starting to hate certain characters because of the horrible decisions they’ve made for the sake of their beliefs, but at the end of the day they’re all just doing what they think is best in an impossibly difficult situation. And that has been the driving force behind AoT from the start.
