She didn’t even change the wording. Repeating what she had been told her whole life. Makes me sad. She just a kid. Also I think Falco, being that he is related to Grice, one of the rebels from Grishas time, makes you think that maybe at home the echoing of how terrible Eldons are, wasn’t as bad as with Gabi and Reiners families. Idk.

He was just trying to act tough like the others are, but was just a BIT naïve to make that comment.’ Turns out, he wasn’t actually trying to act tough. That’s just how Floch grow. Him backing off there I think was the last time he backed off a n y t h i n g. Him surviving the Battle for Shiganshina and whatever else has happened between then and now threatens his sanity DAILY like a starving pit bull, straining against its ever-weakening leash lol

I thought Connie’s dad was the abnormal bug-eyed one that didn’t listen to Zeke the first time lol How the heck did he get all the way up north before Sasha did? Am I dumb? Lol I was/am pretty confident those two titans that stumbled out of the woods during the Utgard castle attack that were wrestling around on the ground tearing pieces of each other off were his siblings, so i assumed his dad was kickin it there too lol Okay so yeah, wow. This entire time I’ve been wondering who in the hell turned her dad into a Titan my dumb ass over here not realizing she would have PROBABLY mentioned her dad turning into a Titan and eating her mom at literally any moment since it happened lol Jesus 🤣

In season 2 we see Pastor Nick run to Hange exclaiming the they need to not let sunlight touch the titan in the wall. This lack of sunlight tricks them into thinking it's night, making them docile. Also, the reason Bertholt became withered in the season 3 finale was because he was purposely emitting excessive amounts of heat to defend himself. The wall titans are just the regular man eating titans but big lol.

They all despise the eldian empire and are completely invested in redeeming themselves for the validation of Marleyans and the rest of the world. Growing up around that environment alongside the propaganda would’ve been deeply engrained into gabi’s roots. Falco on the other hand has a family of pro restorationists. His uncle, Grice, was actually one of the main leaders of the restorationists and the one who recruited Grisha into the group way back when.

Also I feel like y'all would also like Jujutsu Keisen as well and there is a new movie with that one that looks great. If nothing else though or if that's not an option I would vote for Demon Slayer next. Its great and it's a newer anime so once y'all are caught up you would have time for other shows since it would just be one episode a week.

Falco and Gabi might have shared the same environment growing up, but the "nurture" they got from their home life, and the "nature" of their DNA puts them in a very different place, mentally.

It's not that the same accent would have developed, but more secluded rural areas (like the forest the Braus family lived) tend to maintain dialects for longer, so it would have been left over from when their ancestors lived on the mainland. It's why the Appalachian dialect has been the same for like 150+ years, but the general southern accent isn't the same as it was less than 100 years ago. And my theory for the Colossal titan thing is that Bertolt made an extra explosive transformation in Shiganshina, plus he lit fire to the debris of the houses he was tossing, and that's why he was getting skinny despite only walking like... a mile

2022-03-27 20:10:38 +0000 UTCI feel like Historia kind of got sidelined after season 3 part 1, so I can’t really say I like her better than Mikasa, but Hange is definitely one of my favorite characters in the show (if not my absolute favorite). She’s intelligent and passionate but also a great leader (in different ways than Erwin obvs) and knows when it’s time to be serious. All that coupled with the fact that she’s shouldered all this responsibility she didn’t want without complaining once makes her really likable for me

And then we have Gabi's family who are proud of her and praise her for her warrior achievements. When she asks her aunt ( Rainer's mom) ,, Is the island devils really are bad" she asks this after Rainer whole speech about how ''bad'' they are and she asked this for confirmation that they are indeed bad bc from his speech it did not sound like they were evil at least not really as much as she thought the were. And so she in her head probably for a moment is doubtful about what she believed the whole time and so she asks her aunt for confirmation. Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language.

I remember when S1 was airing and everyone was simping for Mikasa even though her only character trait was to be yandere for Eren because she was the only real female character in the show. But as soon as S2 and 3 dropped and Ymir and Historia got their time to shine Mikasa got dropped from the best girl position almost immediately because those two had more than 2 character traits. That's not to say Mikasa is a "bad" character, I just don't think she's very compelling, and she certainly doesn't stack up when compare to more complex characters like Reiner, Zeke, Eren, Gabi, Erwin, etc.

Also Eren said it himself; the legacy of the Eldian Empire is real, seared into the world collective memory, and they're a nation of folks who can turn in giant man eating monster . Realistically there's a diplomatic path, but it's a far more time and resource extensive and unreliable plan than just holding the world hostage with the threat of global genocide. It would definitely require turning some of the Tybur and Marleyan elite, but... that's a bit complicated now.

2022-03-27 19:09:45 +0000 UTCI just wanted to warn you that sometimes in dub the translation can be a bit off also gabi va in dub is not really good in imitating the emotions of the original voice actor that's why i also think it makes her less likeable by a lot of people. And in this season there are some scenes that you should watch with sub on your own after you watch it with dub bc they seem like completely different scenes with different sound and emotion to them. Not something you can tell the common populace and definitely not something you want leaked. They've said multiple times that they have neither the numbers or technology for a full scale war, Eren forced them into an unwinnable situation where the Rumbling (which they haven't tested) and Zeke is their only option. I feel Floch(?) is similar to Gabi in that he's dead set on revenge at any cost and willing to disregard any and everyone that disagrees. I agree'd with everything he said during season 3, but here, he's just a dick.

2022-03-27 17:11:39 +0000 UTCOne thing that you guys aren't connecting is that Falco witnessed the conversation between Eren and Reiner (back at the declaration of war). He already was a little mistrustful of Marley's propaganda, specially about the honor of being a warrior. I'm pretty sure hearing Eren and Reiner talk also helped change his views. He heard them talk about their experience with the whole enemies/devils thing and how they are just the same and have been both affected by the demonization of the other side. Hearing the conversation and, even more, seeing Reiner's reaction would be more than enough to shatter the indoctrination for someone like Falco.
