2022-04-14 02:55:41 +0000 UTC@kenny, the reason levi isn't being mentioned by the azumabito is I think because he is fully an akermman while Mikasa is half akermman, half oriental/asian. Her mom was the asian side and she is from the same group/tribe as the azumabito. I might have gotten this wrong but that is how I understood it this whole time. It was mikasa's dad who was an akermman.

I never read the manga so at the time I was thinking it was some unique thing that only Eren’s Titan could do because I didn’t know Hardening wasn’t unique to the Female Titan. I’m not super deep in the community to know what other fans feel about it, but to me, looking back at it; it DOES seem like a kind of weird stylistic thing to have done, but like you said, it didn’t really add to or subtract from anything, (as far as I know anyway) AND they never brought it up again since that time. So. Eh? I guess? Lol

The anime and manga are obviously different versions of the same story, so the manga doesn’t dictate what is and isn’t canon to the anime if the anime chooses to diverge. I just find it weird how some fans treat it.

I'll remind you, Kenny (no spoilers) that Yelena only said Eren is like a god because he has the founding titan. The other shifters do not meet the criteria by that definition. Zeke's monke titan is close to the founder in power, as we heard before, which is why he would technically meet this definition (and would explain why she seems so loyal to Zeke, at least as far as Onyanopon sees).

Levi's mother was an Ackermann but his father is unknown, but he is white. He has no relation to Hizuru, so he is not involved.

Mikasa’s mother is a descendant of the Azumabito clan, making her a royal, while Mikasa’s father was an Ackerman. Mikasa is a descendant of 2 clans of great power.
