What Pieck is saying is that their ethnicity is what makes them feared and hated by the rest of the world, but their interests don’t necessarily align with that of the nation of Eldia, even if SoY are the ethnic majority in Eldia.

2022-04-13 02:16:13 +0000 UTCAlso, to add on to the discussion about Eren using the Warhammer powers to do aerial attacks, it would be more similar to knowing how to use a baseball bat and then being asked to throw a javelin. Throwing a large weapon with any accuracy would need a LOT of practice, which we have not seen Eren have at all.

The euthanasia plan still requires a small scale rumbling to destroy a global military fleet in order to leave paradis untouched for a century. If they touched in Marley, there would not have been a global military congregated for the rumbling to destroy in one go.

A lot of people say that Eren’s a badass for how he handled her holding him at gunpoint (and tbf he was), but Pieck herself was able make both him and Gabi believe she intended to betray her comrades all while staying perfectly calm. Not to mention she got a lot right about the Founder’s powers through speculation alone (which even Eren seemed somewhat surprised by). There have been other instances of her outsmarting people and even understanding certain situations quicker than most, but this episode definitely has the most obvious example. I think it’s pretty safe to say that she’s one of the smartest characters in the show. As for the part 2 OP question, I don’t have a particular opinion about whether or not y’all should watch it, but I highly recommend watching the ED considering how it’s completely spoiler-free and definitely the best ED in the show so far.
