Thirdly I'd like to point out what Ed told Rose in the second episode (I think it was the second episode) "human bodies can be built on the cheap. Those ingredients that I listed a kid could go and buy them for the spare change in his pocket." It isn't the body that's the valuable ingredient it's something far harder to measure.

I actually did study the history of alchemy and all the symbolism and stuff like that a long time ago. I have like zero recollection of what that thing actually means in the realm of FMAB or if they even go into it or not but I think like in actual reality regarding alchemic recipes and how they were coded and read, I’m not sure you DIDN’T do a really good job. That was a very interesting thing for you to have done Kenboy. I really enjoyed that

Montana's thirst is just that strong. All I can do is bow deeply in respect and then think about a few fanfic ideas I'll never actually get around to writing.

2022-07-07 20:58:35 +0000 UTCThe interesting thing when you think about it, is that Barry the chopper could technically have been right. Without diving into any spoilers, Ed's dad is clearly not there and his mom died when Ed was young. He gave his leg trying to bring her back. It could have been a cool twist to reveal that he gave his arm to "create" his brother, and the flashbacks we see could have been from Al's "memories" which Ed created for him. I'm glad with the story we got, just saying that it could have been a cool plot point. Essentially making Al part of Ed's soul, just with another personality to help support him after the emotional trauma of no longer having any family
