Even though episode 3 has a different title it’s basically still part of the pilot as it’s still setting the stage for the show. Episode 4 is where one of the main plots of the series begins, in a way. Maybe instead of rewatching the first 3 episodes you could just watch Kenny and Montana’s reactions to those?

They can use the older character designs, they can get Angella back, we can see how the planet and maybe some of the universe are doing post-war! Ooh! It could be like, Bow and Glimmer are getting married and Glimmer makes a comment about how she wishes her mom could be here for it, and Catra is hit with immediate guilt. She goes to Entrapta and Hordak to see if there’s any way they could rescue Angella from the portal! Then from there the writers could take the portal storyline in so many possible directions! …Welp, time to hit up ao3 for some post-canon fanfics.

2022-07-08 15:39:28 +0000 UTCI was already into the show because the showrunner Nate Stevenson was on critical role and during the pandemic I was looking for any content similar as they were on a break and I saw a lot of good things about it. Once I got to season 2 it picks up and season 3 is the greatest season of anything I have seen with how damn good and tight the pacing it. That said by episode 6 or so of season 1 lot of people get into it. I think princess prom (episode 7?) Is a good base, if you don't like it by then you're never going to.

2022-07-08 15:34:13 +0000 UTCSeason 2 is technically only half a season. Netflix does this weird thing with some of their animated shows where they split one full season into two half seasons. So seasons 1, 4, and 5 are 13 episodes, season 2 is 7 episodes, season 3 is 6 episodes.

That way the people who want to watch asap can, and the people who don’t still have the option to just wait and watch them together.

If you want to watch both one after the other you still can by waiting for the second to be out before watching the first.

2022-07-08 15:30:24 +0000 UTCI say give it to episode 11 at most, cuz by then usually people get more interested. Before then it’s mostly just world/character building (with some exceptions). If you still don’t care for it after getting that far, then yeah it probably just isn’t your thing

But the quality skyrockets around the end of season 2 and just never drops again. It is now one of my favorite series ever. So I do strongly recommend you give it another shot. edit: season 3 will make your jaw drop. Its only 6 episodes long and it is just amazing. Give it a try.

We *know* both episodes will be posted today, so I would prefer to get both at the same time as they cannot really be watched on their own. It really is not a big deal to have to wait a few hours more for that since we know you will post both today.
