Dear God, even watching the subbed version, I've never noticed Gluttony calling for Lust. I always figured it was a tortured scream of pain, but now I can 100% hear it. That's so damn sad. Boy! Pride is a garbage person.

2022-11-08 08:04:06 +0000 UTCI like the reveal of Madame Christmas being Roy Foster mother for a number of reasons. Of course, it's cool to just learn more about our characters. But we also know that Roy uses the persona of being a 'ladies man' to his advantage. All of his subordinates have female codenames to sound like women he is flirting with. His alchemy notes are encoded to look like various dates he goes on. And he pays regular visits to what looks like a bar and brothel. But we learn that Madame Christmas gathers information for him, as are any "dates" he goes on with the women there. If anything, you could probably make the arguement that the women there are like his foster sisters. It's kind of fun to think that Roy learned about information gathering and the like since he was a kid, plus it makes a lot of sense. Hiromu Arakawa, the mangaka, also revealed that Chris Mustang is Roy's fraternal aunt, and that his parents died when he was very young.

2022-11-07 22:16:07 +0000 UTCI think with Pride, it makes sense with his sin that he consumed Gluttony. He was so prideful and knew he was going to lose, so not wanting to lose due to his pride, took gluttony’s stone to make himself more powerful.

2022-11-07 18:11:15 +0000 UTCSo three things. 1. I don’t know you y’all caught it, but the last thing Gluttony did before he died was cry out for help to Lust. I think that, combined with how he reacted when he found out Mustang killed her, shows how close those two were as “siblings” 2. I don’t think Father cares about the Homunculu other than a “These are my agents to do the things I can’t at this time” type deal, cause once again with Gluttony, he had no problem melting down his stone, and consuming it, and only brought back Gluttony when he needed him again, so as long as the candidates are coming to him, he don’t care 3. The deal with Pride is that because Father took the time to give Pride his original form from inside the flask, it’s possible he put more of himself into Pride.
