Forewarning the post credit scenes and cliffhangers are going to be getting more evil. So prepare yourselves for that! Now Al can't do any alchemy inside the place he's trapped with Pride because alchemic reactions produce light which then produces Shadow which then means that he gets turned into metal sashimi and or pride uses the brief moment of Shadow to drill his way out of the trap.

One of the underestimated facets of pride in humans is the erroneous belief that they do not need to rely on anyone else for support. He thought it would be better for him to devour Gluttony (despite this being a more natural thought to occur to Gluttony), and now he is alone. If Gluttony was still around, he could easily extract him from a giant earth ball or eat their way out if both were inside but Pride's pride has left himself stranded without backup.
