Although it is gory, not as much as Attack On Titan. I just voted for it to show it some love, however My Hero Academia is a solid choice! I would also like to submit Space Brothers as a new potential candidate. Its a very touching story of two brothers on different life paths converging in their mutual dreams to join JAXA, Japan's NASA analog. I believe it is right up your alley!

2022-11-23 22:06:52 +0000 UTCI'm not totally sure, but I think that's the first time I've seen Montana jump out of her chair and yell about it. She's invested in her favorite characters, and that's just how this series is. Another thing, I think it's interesting how many parallels this show has with Attack on Titan. This episode specifically shows the value of information and public perception. It's like on AoT when the MPs were chasing Flegel into that cul de sac thing, and then goaded them into divulging the information. Only to find out later that the Scouts had set it all up so that the people would be witnesses. After that, the scouts were seen as heroes, all the way until Eren left the island. In this, there's almost no way that Mustang comes out looking like the bad guy, regardless of the outcome.

2022-11-23 21:54:32 +0000 UTCFor me personally - it isn't that I don't think Envy doesnt deserve it, but in order to torture it requires an unhealthy level of suspension of empathy. I think it's dangerous to allow ourselves to feel that level of hatred where we would be willing to break what should be our moral boundaries for revenge. I think this is what Scar and Ed are actually worried about: he is being driven to do this out of hatred and may end up negatively changed as a result of it.

His flame alchemy is actually him using alchemy to create concentrated paths of oxygen in the air so when he snaps the sound isn't from a snap it's him using his glove which has a sort of lighter spark mechanism igniting the paths of oxygen he created.

Roy Mustang actually reminds me of another character Clyde Shelton from the movie Law Abiding Citizen which I highly recommend watching. They are both very methodical in the way they administrate vengeance. Oh still hoping for Cowboy bebop and Ghost in the shell reactions...🤞😁🤞

Mustang said after the meeting with Wrath, that he never felt more human than when he's fighting actual monsters, saying it with a smile on his face. It was always hinted at that Mustang has a dark side that is driven by his ability to use the most powerful alchemy, for ex. He thinks and is confident he can be ruler despite all the crazy obstacles in his way.
