Random Idea: Avatar Rewatch

So Montana and I were talking, and she said that she remembers loving the series of avatar, but really wants to do a rewatch to take it all in and get a more thorough understanding of the series as a whole. We were gonna just watch it ourselves, but were wondering since we never did a full length reaction to most of avatar, mostly only 1 minute clips for the first 2 seasons, would you all want a rewatch?

another choice would be just the most important plot episodes!

It would also be cool, to see what you missed on the first watch or what you two think about the show after watching Korra (technical time, older main cast, more action, different themes besides learning the 4 elements) ;)

2022-12-02 14:26:58 +0000 UTCMaybe wait to do a rewatch until Montanand maybe you have more of what Mike and Bryan took as inspiration for the show under your belt -- like cowboy bebop, some of the older Miyazaki films, Samurai Champloo, and some others too but these are important if you havent watched them (on or off the channel! Unsure if FLCL is something you guys would like on the forst shot though i know it was an inspo for mike and bryan. I know there are some love action movies too) I say this only because it'd make a more informed rewatch and if you're gonna watch the whole thing for you/us, I think you having a larger spread of where the tropes and stylizations are coming from. It might also make y'all less anxious about just resummarizimg stuff and restating what you may have before (which is fine in its own right of course!) Because it's definitely something new to say/compare/contrast.

I love Avatar and your reactions to it made me fall in love with you guys, but it is special and I think you guys should rewatch and take it in without the thought of a camera or editing or a schedule and just fully enjoy it again for yourselves. If it is something you guys want to do on camera then by all means, but I think that maybe this should be kept for you.

2022-12-02 01:05:54 +0000 UTCI would still watch it but would prefer to watch stuff that you haven't seen yet. If you do end up doing it I think it would be a bit better if you did multiple episodes at a time and condensed it down to one video so like 2-4 in one normal length video
