2023-01-04 18:44:23 +0000 UTCWhen Mustang lost his sight, he *did* gain something from Truth (however unwilling): like Ed, Izumi, and Alphonse, he can perform alchemy without a circle. It's not about Truth realizing Mustang didn't open the portal of his own volition. See, Truth doesn't exactly care about the morality of a situation when those who come to his presence arrive there. It's content to let the chips fall as they may, which kind of makes it a "god-like" creature in this universe.

2022-12-15 20:15:02 +0000 UTCThere's a fun fan theory that suggests the Truth went easy on Mustang because he was unwilling. Considering how everyone else actually has parts of their body ripped away, he did get off a lot easier than the others. The Truth COULD have just taken his whole eyes.

Do you think the body will just go with any body at this point when it seems to clearly have an attachment to the "correct" soul and admires Al's selflessness.
