That Ferris wheel story is so funny Kenny LOL I remember when my family went on vacation to I think Georgia? we went to a place called Stone mountain, and they have these like lifts that take you all the way up the mountain, and then you can stand on top of the mountain and I don't know be happy or have fun or whatever LOL but I was so totally down to go on top of the mountain to take photos, and we got on the lift...but as soon as it started moving I went into absolute shambles..I buried my head in my mother's lap, I was sobbing, I was shaking and some random guy on the lift with us was trying to distract me with magic and I was having no part of it LMAO and then we got to the top of the mountain I was apparently totally fine but it was traumatizing AF 🤣

2023-01-03 13:33:39 +0000 UTCThe Luz transformation was actually a Sailor Moon reference which She-Ra transforming was also a Sailor Moon reference. Sailor Moon made an entire genre out of cool transformation sequences. It would be awesome to react to that show at one point. I would suggest the 90s anime with the Viz dub. The original dub was terrible, but it has since been redubbed and it's good. It's a lot to take on since it's 200 episodes, but so worth it. I think you would love that series.

I didn't listen and ended up watching it all in one day 😭

2022-12-28 05:26:34 +0000 UTCI loved the show since the beginning but I can see why people say that the beginning is slow but I think it's just so you fall in love with the characters and now the show is going to go through some events and we get to see those characters grow through the evolving plot. Can't wait for the rest of your reactions!

2022-12-28 05:04:29 +0000 UTCimo there are no bad episodes of toh. they all serve some sort of purpose whether it be random entertainment or just introducing characters. however the show gets much more linear from here on out and when you finish the series you will look back and really notice the shift in quality once dana was able to do what she wanted. instead of saying you got the “bad episodes” out of the way, i’d say you’re now at the most anticipated parts of the first season. this is my first time commenting on patreon btw!

2022-12-27 01:28:38 +0000 UTCI can see it's getting a bit controversial with the filler nonsense, but here's my take: If you watched FMAB but it was just Al and Ed getting up to wacky standalone hijinx that are still fun and great to watch individually, and then got to the current plot, you'd have a good idea of why people think the next parts of this show are "better". I also really enjoy these episodes because they establish the world and characters before we go full tilt into some really cohesive and dark plotlines. Neither is better or worse, it will just seem very distinctly different when you look back over these episodes after getting through the rest of the show.

2022-12-26 18:41:51 +0000 UTCI think the term "bad episodes" is incorrect for the first so. It's more an end of the episodic formating of the show. Which also was used as one fo the reasons it got "cancelled" the way it did. Disney wanted more episodic shows that are easier to rerun.
