How to refer to Naomi before we know her name

I think adding "woman genius detective" adds this weird implication. Like if it was a male character they'd just be "genius detective" not "genius male detective"

I mean even Ray refers to her as Naomi;before he dies, so I don’t see anything wrong with referring to her as such

I prefer any of these over Raye's fiance. I don't like the idea of reducing her to simply being Raye's fiance. She is her own character and an incredible detective.

I'd put "Penber's Fiance Genius Counter," or "Raye's Fiance Genius counter." Having both names makes it a bit too long imo.

That’s fair. Most of the detectives, and there are a lot of them, are male. She is distinguished by being a superb detective, who is also a woman.

I feel like nobody wants "ray penber's fiance" because shes so much better than him and it feels rude to reduce such a badass to that role haha Literally every scene of him we get is either him being really easily manipulated or pretty egregiously sexist to Naomi (I understand there is some cultural context but his character is American and they live in America so I don't buy that argument)

I'd personally go with either Naomi, or if you're concerned about spoiling her name (which I think is a silly thing to consider a spoiler but that's just me) then Woman Detective.

i read in the comments that there are people who haven’t seen the show as well, so i think you shouldn’t give the name Naomi before it’s revealed
