Dear Patrons,
It has been a bit of a week. The journey to release apparently needs to include both exploding cars, one-man-moving-missions with a sprained foot, and the most high-stakes game of midnight crane ever. The tempo has been high, and the amount of sleep has been low, but rather than dwelling too much on the obstacles, I want to share what has been achieved.
EPISODE 3:
The release of 'Tales of Zale - Flickering Lights' is only one day away!! I've been trying to write this patreon update for days, so it wasn't that way when I first started writing, but alas. Unfortunately, we are working right up to the wire. We have a very special song playing at the end. The demo of it hit just the right mood, but unfortunately, what was supposed to be the final recording went too far in one direction. That has meant that we've had to reschedule on both mine, the singer/songwriter, the composer and the sound mixer's part. Everything else is otherwise done, but getting this last bit through the pipeline is just going to be very tight... Not impossible though!
TV-SERIES:
We finished the TV-series trailer right on time! And it's looking really good, so I hope I can share it with you all before too too long. For now, though, it is for internal use. And it hasn't has a full sound treatment yet either (we don't have a deadline for that yet).

EXHIBITION:
This Sunday the Tales of Zale exhibition got kicked off in Copenhagen! It was a wonderful day with lots of old familar faces, and some new ones too. There was a lot of heavy lifting involved with getting this exhibition ready. Together with moving apartments single-handedly and working well into the night and starting again early morning, I'm honestly surprised that my body has been able to keep up without catching a cold or anything (that always seems to happen otherwise, knock-on-wood).

ART BOOK:
It's here and it is BEAUTIFUL. I'm so proud of this thing, it came out way better than I could have imagined, every step of the way. We already sold a whole box of them on opening day, but there should be enough to go around for now. One of the big things on my to-do list over the coming days, will be to set up an online shop too so we can start shipping them out to everyone who wants one.

OTHER MERCHANDISE:
Since I am both doing an exhibition, going to an artist alley, and making an online store, I figures I should work out some more merchandise. The neat thing about working in an artist-heavy building is that a lot of people have already figured this stuff out ahead of you. Some of the other folks have some real high-end printers that can make museum-quality prints at an affordable rate. So I've been making my first prints!

I also made this little guy, a wooden figurine! I absolutely love this one, but it is on the more expensive and complicated side to get made, so I think I'll see if I can set up a pre-order system, so I'm sure to just make as many as what there's demand for.

ROUND-UP:
OK, OK, OK -- I just wanted to have had this update out of the way before releasing the episode. Tomorrow is the big day, so I'll talk to you soon!!
All the best,
- Sif
