Tenya Iida voted for Izuku Midoriya to be the class rep as he believes he is the perfect choice since his courage and quick thinking under stress are perfect for being a leader. It's interesting as sometimes in life you may not be confident in yourself until someone else sees something in you that you may never have noticed yourself. Even though Deku is not confident in his abilities or skills and even though he may feel he isn't special will the people around him who see his qualities be the reason for Deku to be the hero he's destined to be?
