This episode is considered a bit of a turning point for many as it has the Black Knights evolving from Terrorist Militia to an actual military force capable of going on the offensive against the Britannian military. Lelouch is now making moves to create man-made landslides to bury hundreds of Britannian mechs and infantry alive while also taking out a large chunk of a city where civilians lived and worked. Do you think that the sacrifice of their daily lives is worth the larger victory of the Black Knights and liberation of Area 11/Japan? Also, what do you think of the new Guren MK II? We know Kallen is an exceptionally talented pilot so far held back only by her lacking equipment. Do you think that in this custom mech she'll be a match for the Lancelot? (Also, also because many reactors ask and it's not really explained clearly, The Guren's gauntlet essentially functions as a portable microwave blasting it's victim and superheating everything around it until she stops. We see that it made the water in the underground lake boil and evaporate and even deformed the metal of "Orange's" mech)

While no one would argue that Jeremiah Gottwald(Orange) is a good person. He shows the lasting effects of being Geass'ed can have on a person. Such as destroying his standing, having everyone turn on him and generally leaving him with nothing. With all the talk of acceptable casualties how do you feel about the "casualties" that aren't killed but are still destroyed as a result of Lelouch's actions?

The Large Amoeba

From this episode and the show so far, we see that Lelouch is heavily focused on targeting whoever the Viceroy of Area 11 is. Ultimately, how do you think this helps his overall goal of defeating the emperor and Britannia given that area 11 is just one of at least eighteen areas of Britannia and the viceroy of area 11 can be easily replaced like Clovis was with Cornelia?

Lelouch's plan on this episode is brilliant and he manages to achieve his "miracle". However, we see that a civilian town under the mountain has been hit by the landslide and that there are probably innocent deaths. Do you think that these are "acceptable casualties"? Are Lelouch's miracles worth it if they come with the death of innocents?

One picture is equal to a thousand words and since I can't send them a picture, I wrote a thousand words

This episode was intense with so many surprises. First, we see that the Black Knights have acquired a new Nightmare, The Guren Mark 2. How much of a threat will this Nightmare be for Britannia? Do you think this new model could take down the mighty Lancelot? Also how impressed were you with Lelouch's fake earthquake stunt and how he requested any of the black nights to shoot him if they didn't want him as their leader? Where do you think this confidence comes from? Is it really confidence or just a man who has nothing to lose? Lelouch's biggest strength is luring his enemy into a trap. We saw that against Clovis in episode 2 how he commanded his knights to attack from underground and now he takes them to a mountain and uses a landslide to take down all of Dalton's Knightmare troops. The Black Nights were clearly outnumbered but yet again Zero performed another miracle. Why do you think a powerful empire like Britannia that's conquered Japan and many others are struggling strategically against one individual? Is Lelouch a strategic mastermind that's beyond human comprehension or did Cornelia underestimate who she was up against?

With Japan now having their own custom-built knightmares how do you think this devlopment will effect morale for The Black knights and Kallen the pilot of the Guren?
