Highway Star (Practice Tab and News)

Just wanted to give an update on how things are going with this tune. This is going to be a great video with accurate tabs and I can't wait to get it out there.
The backing track has been created. I was struggling to get a decent hammond organ sound so I did some research and looked around. Sure enough, IKMultimedia has a Hammond B-3X plugin and they were happy to provide that for me. It even came with a Highway Star preset and it sounds great!
I was off and on about tabbing out the organ solo. But how can I not. It's super fun to play and because of this, there will be a guest appearance in this video. My good friend, Jason Sheppard, will be playing the organ solo and you can check out his cover of this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAwr4BuWUts.
He's using an economy picking approach which I think will making an awesome addition to this. And he's a killer guitar player so I'm looking forward to having him on the track.
For now, I'm providing my tab of the song synced with the track if you're looking to get an early start on the tune. I created the above video so I could get my parts down nice and tight.
Stay tuned for the video release of this song. It's going to be a big one for the channel. unless YouTube does that weird algorithm thing... Either way, it's going to be fun getting the tracks down and doing video editing for this. I think I might go all out magician.
