Is this song just Thunderstruck, but with bats?

This one has been on the list for a very long time. Glad we finally got it out! There aren't too many 2010's songs that get requested. We actually have playlists for decades, and this is the first addition to the 2010 playlist 😂

That intro has some really cool economy picking. Most people use pull-offs here, but after digging into it, it's straight picking throughout. I had never really listened to Avenged Sevenfold honestly, but I’m glad I had the opportunity to do this song and expose myself to how great Synyster Gates really is. I was blown away with this one
